Product description
Origen pays homage to the Catalonian monks and their winemaking prowess. It emulates the wines made and drunk by monks who lived in the Cistercian monasteries in the 14th century. A powerful and balanced wine with aromas of sweet black fruits, blueberries and black currants. The palate is soft and round with a pleasing velvety consistency. This wine is made from 20 and 30 year old vines planted in vineyards located around the Cistercian monasteries, between 400 and 500 meters above sea level, next to the Clos Montblanc winery.
